Ready to represent your municipality on the virtual pitch? The World Cup Esports Tournament is bringing youth players together for a regional EA Sports FC 2026 showdown!
Players from Barrie, Oro‑Medonte, Orillia, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Collingwood, Innisfil, Tiny Township, and Penetanguishene will be able to register to compete in online municipal qualifiers. Registration is capped at 96 participants per municipality, with additional players placed on a waitlist.
Regional Finals: June 26 at Five Points Theatre
The top 6 competitors from each community will advance to form three 2v2 teams to compete in the in‑person regional finals, where teams will battle it out live on PlayStation 5 consoles. Two additional players who ranked 7th & 8th for their municipality will be invited to the finals as alternates. Players will represent their municipality and one of our 48 World Cup Teams. Spectators can tune in online throughout the tournament, with limited in‑person viewing available for the final event.

This event is intended for ages 14 to 24, with familiarity with playing FC26 online with others, and who have used Discord before.
Parental consent will be required for participants under the age of 18.
Online qualifying rounds can be played from area of your choice. The online tournament is heavily depended on online knowledge of game and use of Discord which is a must. Tournament organizers have the right to remove players for lack of knowledge, communication or missing parental consent.
The top players from each municipality will be invited to play in the in-personal finals at Five Points Theatre on Friday, June 26. Finalists must be able to provide proof of residency in order to confirm their finalist position.

The event is being held in partnership with Oro‑Medonte, Orillia, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Collingwood, Innisfil, Tiny Township, and Penetanguishene, and is being hosted virtually by online interactive gaming entertainment company, We Got Game.
